Three

do you find things happen in 3's?

1/ My big laptop is sick.
2/ I had another ceiling flood in the kitchen.
3/ My landlord is selling the castle, I might have to move.

Some 3's are really good 3's:
1/ This is my 3rd blog post in a row.
2/ I will see my boyfriend in 3 nights time.
3/ It is 3 weeks until the Princess's 9th birthday.

p.s. today is the one year anniversary of the terrible earthquake that tore apart Christchurch, one of our main cities, took lives, injured people and destroyed homes. Prayers and blessings to the people of Christchurch including my precious godparents. xo

IN-Som-NIA and Stuff

Insomnia, seriously you would think I would be immune to it with the amount of strong pain relief I take, but no, insomnia haunts me from time to time... but oh what brilliant ideas come to me in the middle of the night,

like last night for instance,  I planned the Princess's upcoming 9th birthday in minute detail and what I am going to do for my boyfriends 40th birthday in April, all I need to do now is DO IT!

And stuff, these shelves in my kitchen please me at the moment, no idea why really as nothing has changed on them!

Despite the lack of sleep I had a really productive day, getting the last of my Xmas presents ready for mailing, no I'm not super organised and early for this coming Xmas, I super unorganised and late, they are for this Xmas just gone! Haha

On taking the late-ish Xmas presents to the Post Office I spied this divine shop window display which as inspired me to do some painting and crafting! So much to do, so little, so little something!

Posting two days in a row, unheard of!

Lost!

I made him a Valentines Day card,

 and attached a red key to my apartment,

and mailed it to his home, waaaay before V Day,

and it did it get there on time,

noooooooooo...

it didn't get there at all,

it got lost,

somewhere in the post :-(

He is in Sydney which is in Australia (in case you didn't know) this week for work,

so I'm going to try it all over again,

as a welcome home gift,

fingers X'd this one makes it!

'Love' February

The 'love' month is here already, in this house we nod to it with a handmade 'love' banner strung across the mantle piece,

and 'love' hearts on the kitchen wall.
