Eight years ago today an amazing young woman gave birth to her daughter and in doing so she gave me the gift of  becoming a mother. As much as it is her daughter, my daughter and his daughters birthday today, it is very much that young woman's special day and for that,  I honour her.

Packing Up

My flatmate Juliana goes home to Brazil on Friday. We are going to miss her so much, this girl makes me laugh every single day!

She's trying to pack here, it drove me crazy so I did it for her!

Professional Packers R US!

I bought a new suitcase to take to Bali, the biggest one I could find. Apart from underwear and makeup, it won't have much in it going over there!

Coming back it will in all likelihood be bursting at the seams!

I am beyond excitement!

A Whirlwind Weekend!

My whirlwind afternoon started at 1pm on Friday when I decided to buy a new car,

and get the Princess a goldfish... called Goldie!

And then on Saturday, while having lunch with a friend, I decided to go to Bali for a holiday, by 10am on Sunday I had booked and in 5 sleeps time I will be there!  I CAN'T wait!

Sunday saw us at Auckland Zoo, which I adore going to and then a clairvoyant show on Sunday night which was interesting to say the least, actually it was a crock of s#%*!

Today I have been to the Auckland Museum, somewhere else I love going to. I went especially to see the Outrageous Fortune exhibition - fabulous!

Tomorrow I have a lunch date and also Thursday...

Cramming in good times before university starts on 28 February!

And.... HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

As you do...

when you are so tired and plan an early night, but first have a quick game of UNO with your guests and your Princess,

while munching on Caramello Nibbles,

you ponder what they would be like baked in cookies and find yourself whipping up a batch of chocolate chippy cookies using the Caramello Nibbles at 10pm instead of the very early night you had planned!

but oh so delicious!
