Rest in Peace Granddad
Babes Granddad passed away yesterday, Wednesday 28th July 2009. He had a severe stroke 5 days earlier and quietly went to sleep in his hospital bed surrounded by Amah (his wife), Jean and Eileen (his daughters) and me.
He was 87 years old, he and Amah were in their 61st year of marriage. Granddad had served for England in World War 2, he was an English Mason, a member of the RSA and a talented wood turner. He loved his family, a whiskey on Saturday night and he had a wicked sense of humor.
Rest in Peace Granddad, we love you and will miss you so very much.
