Earthquake Damage

Photo's are of my godparent's street and house in Christchurch.

The area they live in was one of the worst hit by last Saturday's earthquake.

My beautiful godmamma sitting on a park bench in her area!

Their toilets!

Cleaning up the mud!

The mud is actually half way up the legs of these chairs! Hard to believe that there was lawn and garden here!

Their driveway!

Such a miracle that no lives were lost in the Christchurch earthquake.

Take Care

  1. Yes, you are right, thank GOD no one was hurt. What amazing looking damage. Amazing in a bad way, of course. I would not want to go through the shaking they must have gone through! Thanks for showing us.

  2. Hi Rachael,
Oh my goodness your pics are incredible. So very glad that no one was hurt. Thank God. Your lovely Godmother looks calm sitting on the bench. I know the cleanup is a huge effort now.
So sorry for it all and prayers for the repairs to go smoothly.

    Have a great weekend.

  4. I am so glad no one was hurt in this - I have been to Christchurch and loved it so, including the beautiful people. Had no idea it was in an earthquake prone area! I love your pictures of the portable potties, oh dear I would have such a hard time with that lol, I am a very picky potty person :)
